The Abbott Loop from Diane’s Crossing
There are several points in the Danby State Forest from which to access the Abbott Loop. One of those locations is Diane’s Crossing, a well-known footbridge on the Abbott Loop, which crosses Michigan Creek on the more northerly portion of the Abbott Loop.
To get to the Dianes Crossing parking area, take Michigan Hollow Rd 2.4 miles south from Danby Rd ( State Route 96B ) and look for the very obvious parking area. Do NOT continue on to the more southerly parking area on Michigan Hollow Rd which is about four miles from State Route 96B.
